Celebrating its 37th year, the annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts is a favorite among artists and visitors alike and will be entertaining guests again August 1st and 2nd in the streets of downtown Big Fork.
After a 2 year hiatus, Xplorer Maps is excited to once gain exhibit at the festival by the lake. Since our last visit to the show in 2012, Xplorer Maps (with all your amazing support!) successfully sold out the 300 Limited Edition giclee prints ($300 each) of our hand-drawn Flathead Lake map and in the process, we donated more than $12,000 to the Flathead Lake Biological Station and the Flathead Lakers.
You will find the Xplorer Maps booth right in front of the Garden Bar – Booth #116
Featured products this weekend include the new release of a $40 lithographic version of Flathead Lake, new 4th edition maps of both Glacier and Yellowstone NP maps, Montana shaped frames with our prints, our recently released illustrated map of California, new 3-D wooden signs of the FL, MT and CA and many other new maps that are now a proud part of our growing product line. And highlighting the show this year are 2 major announcements:
1. The Flathead Lake Original Artwork (in a custom, hand-scraped MT harvested pine frame) will be available for sale this weekend only. The price is $7,500 with $2,500 being donated to the above organizations (and thus, tax-deductible!).
2. Xplorer Maps has increased our donation to FLBS and the Flathead Lakers to include 50% of every Flathead Lake product purchased at the festival.
3. Show Specials include $50 off framed prints the first and last hours of the show both days and a free sticker (MT, Flathead, Yellowstone or Glacier) with a purchase of any map the first and last hours of each day while supplies last.
