About Our Texas Maps
Our artist, Chris Robitaille, has beautifully illustrated the Lone Star State, including great monuments like the Alamo and the state Capitol, longhorn cattle, vast mountains, canyons, rock formations, and wildlife. Equally exquisite are the depictions of the Rio Grande, the Guadalupe Mountains and Big Bend National Park. The Texas state map is truly a piece of historical and contemporary art highlighting the wonders of this amazing state.
We have a full line of Texas map products, including: coasters, jigsaw puzzles, magnets, wood puzzles, mini-maps, mugs, prints, notecards, serving trays, wood signs, and wood postcards.

Hand-Drawn, Fine Art Maps Provide Lasting Travel Memories and Make Great Gifts
Hand-drawn artwork. Every line, letter, and icon is hand drawn and 100% original. This custom artwork is also featured on additional map-themed products.
Artistic Process. The medium Chris uses for these maps is pen and ink with multiple layers of watercolor washes. The process takes approximately one year as each map is entirely custom and unique.
Collaborative Partnerships. Xplorer Maps co-founder Greg Robitaille spends months working on content and design with historians, National Park Service interpretive staff and non-profit partners.
Philanthropy. A percentage of each map sold is donated to groups dedicated to conserving and preserving our public lands. To date, we have donated $50,000+ to non-profits throughout the U.S.
