Featured Retailer: My Home in Montana a Hotspot for Tourists + Valued Partner

The first thing people see when they walk into Tammy Haas’s store in Ennis, Montana is a gigantic, hand-illustrated map of Montana that takes up an entire wall.

“People love it,” Haas said.  “They’re touching it all the time.”

Not too far away from the map is a display of Xplorer Maps’ products, including postcards, puzzles, mugs, and more.

TammyHaas is the owner of My Home in Montana, a handmade gift and home décor store about an hour away from Yellowstone Park.  With 4 million+ visitors to Yellowstone Park in 2016 – a record high – My Home in Montana is a hotspot for tourists, locals, and others.  One of the top destinations for fly fishing, Ennis attracts outdoor enthusiasts who stop by for gifts to remember their trips to Montana.

My Home in Montana, located at 123 Main Street in Ennis, opened in 2014 when Haas and her husband moved from Bozeman.  The store focuses on Made in Montana products, works with nearly 100 vendors, and features “an eclectic array of unique items” from Montana artists.  A skilled crafter, Haas first connected with Xplorer Maps three years ago at a Made in Montana trade show where she had her own booth.

Partnering with Xplorer Maps has been a great experience, Haas said.  “People love the Montana map, the Montana magnets, and the Montana gift cards.  It’s also nice that Xplorer Maps adds new products every year.”

With tourist season soon in full swing, Haas has put in an order to Xplorer Maps for more products.  “I sold the last Montana map.  I can’t wait to get more.”

My Home in Montana has been working with Xplorer Maps for the past three years.  Listen to what Haas likes about Xplorer Maps below.
