Shout out to the SLAM festival

This is our thank you letter that was recently published in the Bozeman Chronicle.

“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers and attendees of this year’s S.L.A.M Festival. Everyone’s efforts, support and enthusiasm succeeded in making our first appearance in Bozeman a remarkable success and one in which all 50 vendors should be very appreciative to have had the opportunity to display and share our locally crafted Montana products.

The logistics for vendors were refreshingly simple and relaxed; the hospitality first-rate; the volunteers incredibly attentive and helpful; the people’s interest in our hand-drawn maps genuinely rewarding; and the overall energy positive throughout both days despite some challenging weather.
When you get the chance, please take the time to extend a very special shout-out to Callie Miller, the amazingly dedicated S.L.A.M board (and their families) and all the volunteers (set-up crews, hospitality crew, water wagoners and members of Venture Church that were so helpful with tear-down) that helped make this past weekend a success. Your efforts did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Thanks to everyone that demonstrated once again that hand-made, locally crafted products are an integral component of our local economies; extremely appreciated and certainly valued for their “one-of-a-kind” unique nature. Great job Bozeman and the surrounding communities for supporting Montana artists! (even Grizzlies!)”
