Milled and crafted by hand in Missoula, MT, Xplorer Maps recently purchased 500 board feet of this beautiful reclaimed larch recently retrieved from the bottom of Flathead Lake (MT) where it sat for more than 100 years.
Every single plank is uniquely different and provides an incredible story and backdrop for your hand-drawn map.
Additionally, each custom Lake Larch frame comes with a Certificate of Authenticity guaranteeing that your wood comes from the reclamation project. All our original, fine art illustrations comes matted and includes high quality Tru Vue Conservation Glass standard (99% UV protection).
