Xplorer Maps Releases Hand-Drawn Zion National Park Map

MISSOULA, MT – Xplorer Maps, the creators of hand-drawn maps of national parks and travel destinations throughout the world, announced today that it has released the newest map art print, the Zion National Park map.

World-renowned artist Chris Robitaille, co-founder of Xplorer Maps, illustrated the Zion National Park map using an antique, old-world style and featuring the fourth most-visited park in Utah, with impressive geologic formations, unique flora and fauna and incredible recreational opportunities that make it a destination experience.

“My brother and I have been looking forward to the opportunity of rendering a custom and entirely original hand-drawn map of Zion National Park,” according to Greg Robitaille, president and co-founder of Xplorer Maps. “We wanted to create something that was not only visually stunning, spectacular and grand, but also intimate in its detail to make those strong connections between people and place.”

“Drawing desert environments is especially rewarding for an artist because we get to work with such amazing landforms, shapes, colors and lighting,” says Chris Robitaille. “But what surprised me the most were the deeply rich riparian areas, abundant water features and lush green regions within the park, which I have attempted to feature to help convey the rich diversity of flora and fauna within the park.”

The Zion National Park map is available at select retail locations throughout Utah and also at www.xplorermaps.com.

The Zion National Park Map makes great map wall decor. Additional map-related products, including mugs, coasters, and puzzles will be coming soon.
