Original hand-drawn pen and ink / watercolor artwork by Chris Robitaille of Xplorer Maps. Framed art of Zion National Park

Original, hand-drawn story map and accompanying gifts of Zion National Park by renowned Illustrator and Xplorer Maps Co-Founder, Chris Robitaille.

For millions of years, the Virgin River has dramatically carved Zion Canyon and because of its varied temperature ranges and varying amounts of sun and water, Zion boasts a diversity of habitats including desert, riparian, pinyon-juniper, and conifer woodland communities; all influenced by nearby areas including the Colorado Plateau, Basin and Range, and Mojave Desert.

Established in 1919 as Utah’s first National Park, Zion is currently the most visited in the state with approximately 4 million guests annually. Encompassing more than 230 square miles with elevations ranging from approximately 3,700 to 8,700 feet, Zion National Park’ s impressive geologic formations, unique flora and fauna and incredible recreational opportunities make it a destination experience that will not disappoint.
