Rocky Mountain National Park
Explore Rocky Mountain National Park with this original, hand-drawn map and travel gifts by Chris Robitaille. Established in 1915, the park covers over 415 square miles, features 60 peaks above 12,000 feet, and offers 350 miles of hiking trails. It is home to Trail Ridge Road, the highest paved road in the U.S., reaching over 12,100 feet.
The Continental Divide runs through the park, which includes the headwaters of the Colorado River. The diverse landscape transitions from riparian wetlands to evergreen forests, alpine lakes, and tundra with wildflowers and dramatic peaks. Designated a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1976, the park attracts over 4 million visitors annually.
This hand-drawn map is a collaborative project with the Rocky Mountain Conservancy (rmconservancy.org).
