The Flathead Lake Map- Limited Edition, Giclee Print- Few Remaining
Located in northwest Montana, Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the western United States; larger than Lake Tahoe, deeper than the Yellow Sea and as pristine in water quality as any comparable lake in the world.
This project is a unique and exciting collaboration among Xplorer Maps, Flathead Lakers and the University of Montana's Flathead Lake Biological Station. Our objectives are to help raise awareness and funds for these two organizations that have invested so much in the future of the lake and have proven to be exemplary stewards of its resources.
Xplorer Maps released 300 signed and numbered Limited Edition Giclee Prints of the Flathead Lake Map in the summer of 2012. Xplorer Maps has donated more than $10,000 from the sale of these prints to the above organizations to help with ongoing water quality monitoring, community education and conservation related products.
Thank you all in advance for your support of Flathead Lake. You can also purchase a lithographic print of Flathead Lake.
All Xplorer Maps products are HAND-DRAWN, HAND-LETTERED illustrations crafted by internationally renowned artist Chris Robitaille using his antique, old-world style intended to pay homage to the early cartographers. To learn more about the process and his exquisite original oil paintings, please visit WWW.ROBITAILLEPAINTINGS.COM.
The paper is 100% cotton, MUSEO MAX, heavy rag with absolutely no optical brighteners. These giclee prints represent the finest original artwork reproduction in the industry and will appreciate in value approximately 5% annually for a true investment in art. The Flathead Lake map measures 22" x 28" unframed.
