This hand-drawn pen and ink/watercolor map by Chris Robitaille of Xplorer Maps features Shenandoah National Park, located in Virginia between the George Washington National Forest and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just 75 minutes from Washington D.C., the park spans 105 miles along the Appalachian Trail, from Front Royal in the north to Rockfish Gap in the south.

Known for its stunning fall foliage and hidden waterfalls, Shenandoah offers visitors a wilderness escape through scenic hikes and the famous Skyline Drive. The map highlights key landmarks like Hawksbill Mountain, Whiteoak Canyon Falls, Big Meadows Lodge, and Stony Man Mountain. Visitors can also spot wildlife, including black bears, bobcats, red-shouldered hawks, and monarch butterflies, thriving in the park’s diverse ecosystems.
